The 2019 Canada Cup Squash (CCS) is set to make its return to Toronto March 3-7th.  The tournament boasts a rich 9-year tradition of attracting the very best squash players in the world, making it the gold standard for Canadian squash. Bringing in the best year after year has resulted in significant growth for the Canada Cup. Riding the momentum, this year's tournament is a sanctioned PSA $70k world ranking event.  The event will feature 28 of the world’s top players in main round and qualifying draws. Situated at various Greater Toronto Area Club’s, Toronto Lawn & Tennis club, Toronto Athletic Club, One Health Club, Ontario Racquet Club, and the main host venue, The Cambridge Club.

The PSA World Championships take place in Chicago when the cream of the PSA World Tour arrive in the United States to compete for the sport’s highest honour.

Chicago will be only the third host city to stage concurrent Men’s and Women’s World Championships and will welcome squash players from upwards of 30 countries when the action begins. The inaugural Men’s World Championship began in 1976 with the whole tournament played at the old Wembley Stadium, home of the England football team.

The Tournament of Champions can trace its distinguished international squash lineage back to 1930 when it was first staged as the “U.S. Professional.” In the late 70’s it became the World Professional Squash Championships and then the Tournament of Champions in 1992. A women’s invitational draw was added to the event in 2001 with a full championship draw added in 2002-2003, 2005-2007 and 2012 forward. The tournament is the oldest, annual competition for squash professionals in the world.

It is a major international display of supreme talent in squash, showcasing the top players from around the world, and bringing fanatical visitors from across the globe to witness elite competition.

Starting in 1954, the U.S. Open has a tradition of intense competition in a dynamic atmosphere. It has previously been held in iconic locations such as Michigan Avenue and Millennium Park in Chicago and Symphony Hall in Boston. Since 2011, the U.S. Open has been held in Philadelphia, at the heart of the squash community.

The NASH Cup began in as an amateur event in 2003 under the name “NASHionals” drawing 50-70 players in its early years. In 2008 the decision was made to add a professional draw to the event with a $5,000 purse. At that time The London Squash & Fitness Club (LSFC) had a long history of hosting exhibition matches, but had never attempted a sanctioned PSA tournament. The effort has been a tremendous success for both LSFC and the region’s squash community.  The 2017 field included 13 of the top 100 men in the world & 14 of the top 100 women.

Macau Open 2018

The 2018 Macau Squash Open marks the seventh consecutive edition of the event. It will once again offer a total purse of $50,000 in each of the men's and women's categories.

The event will run from 27th March to 1st April 2018 and has attracted participants from a total of 16 nations. All earlier rounds will be played at the Macau Bowling Centre while the semis and finals will be played on an all-glass court erected in Tap Seac Square.

The Canary Wharf Squash Classic is an annual international squash tournament for male professional players, held at the East Wintergarden in Canary WharfLondonEngland. The event was first held in 2004, when it was an invitational event involving eight of the world's leading players. The tournament continued in the same format in 2005. In 2006, the Canary Wharf Classic became a Professional Squash Association (PSA) Tour tournament, with qualifying rounds and a main draw of 16 players.

The 2018 Windy City Open presented by the Walter Family and EquiTrust Life Insurance Company will become the most lucrative PSA World Series tournament ever next month when $500k of prize money will be split equally across both the men’s and women’s draws between February 22-28. Held at the University Club of Chicago’s iconic and intimate Cathedral Hall, the Windy City Open became the second World Series tournament to offer parity in prize money between male and female players back in 2015 and will offer a $200k increase in prize money compared to last year. World Champions Mohamed ElShorbagy and Raneem El Welily feature in a world-class draw that will contain 64 players, representing upwards of 15 different countries.
