In 2015 Nathan created a Squash in Schools program for local Gloucestershire primary schools, with the help of Gloucestershire University and England Squash. Wary that the sport of squash was a dying pastime in England, Nathan has made it his mission to introduce school kids to the game that has given him so much. First and foremost it is his goal to share his love for squash with kids around the country who might not otherwise get the opportunity, making them squash fans first, and hopefully world class players further down the line.
After starting the program three years ago, Squash in Schools has reached almost 2500 children across the county. With the help of a team of qualified coaches that he has assembled, Nathan travels around with portable, miniature squash walls that can be set up in any sport hall and used for 3 hour introductory clinics.
